A footwork-first receiving drill that isolates the catcher's lower half — foot set, knee angle, and pre-pitch weight shift — so the glove works off a rock-solid platform and borderline pitches get called strikes.
⏱ ~20 min📋 3-4 rounds: 8-10 dry base sets, 8 shifts per side, 10 dry-fire presents, then 20 live borderline receives; rest 60-90s between live rounds.
