Pace-Ball Race: A Machine/Front-Toss Times-to-Plate Drill
A pitcher races a machine-fed or front-tossed "pace ball" to a finish-line net, turning time to the plate into a live, chase-able race instead of a number you read off a stopwatch after the fact.
⏱ ~20 min📋 3–4 rounds of 6–8 slide-step deliveries racing the pace ball; log time to plate each rep, mixing in 1–2 full-windup pitches per round
