Transfer Duel: A Head-to-Head Infield Transfer Time Drill
A small-sided, bracket-style competition where two infielders race side by side to field a feed and get the ball out of the glove and released fastest — every clean rep is timed glove-touch to release, so a shorter transfer_time_s literally wins the head-to-head.
⏱ ~20 min📋 5 timed feeds per duel; 3-5 rounds through a 4-8 player bracket (~20-40 clean reps per athlete)
What you'll need
- Stopwatch or pop-clock timing app
- Baseballs or softballs (8-10 per station)
- Fielding glove
- Throwing net or rebounder (or a partner target)
- Cones
